  I just did not enjoy it on any level. Dined here with my husband who is not the most discriminating with his food choices and even he complained throughout dinner. We ordered fried cheese as an appetizer and I went with French Onion Soup. Entrees were: Porter house with mashed potatoes and Crusted Parmesan with mashed potatoes. I also ordered a drink from the bar but it was just not mixed well and had no flavor other than the harshness of the liquor. Surprising for a mixed cocktail. Our food was served very, very slowly. We waited longer than 20 minutes for the appetizer alone. Luke warm bread was brought to the table perhaps 10 minutes later. No butter, no butter knives. Just a lump of bread. We waited more than 30 minutes of the entrees and when they arrived we were extremely disappointed. I asked for my soup with the appetizer and it came out with our meal. The French Onion soup - salty and beyond that very bland in flavor. IF this was Gruyere cheese it had to have been the cheapest quality because it was salty to the point it was not edible and I was never able to chew it to the point that it was safe to swallow. I left it untouched. Our service did notice and removed it form the bill. My porterhouse was bland, cooked more thoroughly in some parts and too red in some. It was odd. I've dined at some of the finest steak houses and I was extremely unimpressed. It also had a weird taste & smell that my husband remarked about. The mashed potatoes are the reason this is a 2 star review. Flavorful, rich and seasoned to perfection. One drawback was that they were a bit runny. Could have used a spoon. My husband chicken was scorched and dry. A "crusted" chicken breast sitting on a big piece of semi toasted Texas toast. I am VERY shocked this is supposed to be an "upscale" eatery. I just didn't get that vibe. Server was inattentive and it took us 22 minutes to get someone to come and pick up our credit card so we could leave. I got up and found the hostess to which she replied, "Yes, well your server has a lot of tables." I'd rate the entire experience: food, drinks, ambiance (aging blondes trying too hard and laughing obnoxiously for male attention makes it hard to enjoy your evening. I felt like I was at a biker bar) and poor service a strong D-. And I'm being kind. I'd never return here again. Even if for free.
